Travel Grants and Financial Support
Travel grants will not be available for the Social Capital 2027 Conference.
We understand that travel costs can be a barrier for many participants, particularly students, early-career researchers, practitioners, and delegates travelling from lower-income regions. While the conference will not be offering direct travel grants this year, we remain committed to supporting broad and inclusive participation.
Global Access Registration Rate
To support wider global participation, Social Capital 2027 will offer a reduced registration rate for participants residing in countries classified by the World Bank as lower-middle-income and low-income economies.
This reduced rate is intended to make participation more accessible for delegates from emerging economies and aligns with the conference’s commitment to inclusion, equity, and global knowledge exchange.
Eligibility will be determined using the latest World Bank country classifications by income level.
Why This Approach?
Although direct travel grants are not available this year, the Global Access Registration Rate has been introduced to reduce participation costs for eligible delegates and support a wider range of voices at the conference.
Social Capital 2027 aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, students and community leaders from across the world. The reduced registration rate is part of this commitment to making the conference more accessible and inclusive.
